Grafton Prison Information

Hi everyone. Here we go. We have our first Grafton prison softball game scheduled for June 8th at ‘The Camp’. We will plan to arrive around 11:30AM, play our double header and provide a picnic as always. The good news is that we have received contributions amounting to $2500 which will buy plenty of good food for the residents for all four weekends. The prison asked that we get our list of names in early for the gate pass. They are tying rosters down earlier than in the past so I will submit our names about two weeks in advance.
We need to build more interest in this effort so if you can help recruit it would be appreciated. FYI…I am getting other dates set for July (6 or 13), August (10, 17 or 24) and September (6 or 13).
As you know, these events are appreciated more than we know, by the men in Grafton. They have already been asking when we are coming so I know there is excitement. Thanks for being a part of this work.
