ABOUT JOB OLYMPICS:
Job Olympics is a competition developed to promote transition and employability skills for a broad spectrum of high school students in special education. Job Olympics brings together over 500 students from 40 different schools throughout the area. Competitions representing actual job and employment situations are judged by business people from the community and professionals in education. At the awards ceremony, the top schools and competitors will be recognized with ribbons, medals and trophies.

Be a 2024 event judge! - We encourage students, professionals from the disability field, community members and employers to sign-up as a judge. You will interact with students one-on-one and use a rubric to evaluate student performance of the job skill. Please only sign-up for one event. (8:00AM – 11:30AM)
Be a 2024 event Captain! - Event Captains must be an educator, paraprofessional, or previous captain at Job Olympics. The Captain will train the volunteer judges of the event and manage check-in of students at the specified event. Please only sign-up for one event. (7:30AM – 11:30AM)
Be a 2024 General Volunteer! - General volunteers assist with the management of the event, which includes set-up, clean-up, registration, awards ceremony and directing participants at the event. (7:00AM – 3:00PM)
