Welcome to the 20-21 Newtown Rock 14U Futures Team

Our team is competing in high level tournaments at 14U, focusing on these specific areas - (1) Offense and Defensive Fundamentals  (2) Physically Fitness with improved core strength and endurance (3) Improved Softball IQ, (4) Aggresssive and effective base running and (5) being the most critical - the Human Factor- being a good person on and off the field for players and parents. 

We are absolutely building for the future with a great deal of growth over the winter training season.    

We will be played a competitive FALL and SPRING schedule, concentrating on more local tournaments due to COVID19 travel restrictions.  During the summer we are ramping our play up and will complete our season with the Triple Crown Sports Nationals in Myrtle Beach, SC.

We are excited to play hard and COMPETE!  The FUTURE is bright with this team!

ABOUT THE ROCK

The Newtown Girls Softball Association is a volunteer, non-profit organization for girls ages 5 through 18.  All the funds collected and raised go directly back into running the program.

The athletes that participate benefit by having a year-round program and we try to find a team/league for each individuals skills and desires that includes in-house, recreational, travel, and GOLD/PREMIER level softball. 

To promote the game and help jump start where is all began for many of our Rock players - we offer an In-House Program. The in-house season begins in April with practices and games typically ending around mid June, just before the end of the Council Rock School District year end.  

For the ROCK Travel Program, the travel team play and practice year round.  The  ROCK brand is recognized nationally and considered one of the top programs in Eastern Pennsylvania.  The Premier team coached by Joe Garvey is always center stage and competiting at the highest level.  Our Travel teams range in age from 10U to 18U and we even offer a 23U team for our returning college students who are looking to play over the summer.

This 30.8 acre park is located at 274 Swamp Road Newtown PA 18940 across from Bucks County Community College

This park has six softball fields, two basketball courts, a playground, half-mile walking trail, restrooms, a concession stand and a picnic pavilion. This park is home to Newtown Rock Softball Association.
