The Standard: R.I.S.E

Respect: We will respect our families, our teachers, our program, the game of basketball, our opponent and ourselves. Our Core Value of respect will challenge us to understand others and have a deeper admiration for others and ourselves. The Standard will be to respect while communicating by maintaining eye contact and acknowledging the message from coaches, teachers, authority figures, and teammates. The Standard will be to respect the game of basketball, our teammates, and our opponents by giving our best effort for as long as we can.

Integrity: Integrity is doing the right thing whether someone is watching or not. Integrity will challenge us in every area of our lives and push us to become the best versions of ourselves. We will pursue integrity in our behavior on the court, in the classroom, in our community, and as we make decisions in our personal lives. The Standard is doing the right thing all the time.

Serve: The Standard in the program will be to serve others. We will serve our community, our families, our team and teammates, and our school. Serving others will get the focus off ourselves and challenge us to treat others the way we want to be treated. Serving requires us to grow in humility.

Excellence: Excellence is being at peace know we did our absolute best in every situation. The standard that we will set for ourselves is giving our best in every area. The Standard is not being ok with good enough, but exhausting ourselves in every area to pursue excellence.
