Who We Are
The Houston Lobos is a semi-professional football team whose purpose is to provide a next level experience. Established in summer of 2014 our objective is to give young aspiring athletes discipline, direction, and a place to showcase their talents. The Houston Lobos Football team relies on our community sponsorship and fundraising to cover the cost of equipment, insurance, EMT personal, travel expenses, field rental, and officiating crews. First  Season

The Houston Lobos ranked 11-1 at the end of the season, earned the title 2015 DTFA North Division Champs and ranked #10 in the nation.

 

Second Season

The Houston Lobos ended their second season with a ranking of 8-2 and earned the title 2016 DTFA North Division Champs. 

 

 

Third Season

The Houston Lobos ended their third season with a ranking of 9-2 Placing them in 2nd place during seasonal games. Unfortunaly the 2016-2017 season ended in a second round loss into the playoffs vs The Houston Ducks ending the season 10-3.  

 

  

Our Mission

"REACH ONE TEACH ONE" Inspire athletes to be leaders both on and off the field, with emphasis on physical fitness, sportsmanship, dedication, commitment, respect, and community involvement. 

 

 

Our Contribution to the Community

We support the following organizations by collecting donations of food, clothing and through volunteering. 

• Star of Hope - Christ-centered community dedicated to meeting the needs of homeless men, women and their children.  
•  National Coalition Against Domestic Violence - (NCADV) is the voice of victims and survivors.  We are the catalyst for changing society to have zero tolerance for domestic violence. 
•  Reach Unlimited - Reach Unlimited is dedicated to providing quality support services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. 
• Houston Food Bank - The Houston Food Bank is America’s largest food bank in distribution to its network of nearly 600 hunger relief charities in 18 southeast Texas counties.
