Advocacy In Motion, Inc. (AIM), is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our community. We believe in real work for real pay, but finding meaningful employment for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) is not a one-size-fits-all endeavor.  The Job Olympics competition was developed to promote transition and employability skills for a broad spectrum of high school students in special education.  Job Olympics brings together over 500 students from 33 different schools throughout the area.  Competitions representing actual job and employment situations are judged by business people from the community and professionals in education.  At the awards ceremony, the top schools and competitors will be recognized with ribbons, medals and trophies.

We ask that you consider being an event sponsor of one of our 28 employment skill events.  Students with special needs have spent months practicing for these competitions in skill categories that align with their strengths and interests.  We would love the opportunity to allow these candidates to showcase their skills in front of potential community employers like you!
