MILLERS OFFICALLY END 48 YEAR FRANCHISE RUN
2023 was the last season for the most successful team in MBA history.
The franchise amassed 15 State titles, 5 Runners-ups and 4 Third Places finishes
to go along with 30 Riverview Championships in it's existence. Heartfelt appreciation goes
out to all the committed and devoted men that started this club and made it into the most
accomplished team in State History. Men like Doc Quain, Dave Aanenson, Jim Benson, Mark
Young, Matt Parrington, Chris Urbain, Tony Richards to name only a few, come around only so often.
All Glory and Honor goes to God but heartfelt respect and love to the men that made this happen.

The League title is the 6th consecutive and 24th overall for the team. Congratulations to eveyone who made this happen.
MILLERS CLAIM 4TH SPAMTOWN CHAMPIONSHIP
Derek Mason claimed MVP honors by going 2-0 with two shutouts and allowing only 3 hits as the Millers notched their 4th Spamtown Challenge title . The team went 5-0 with wins over the Forest Lake Brewers, Souix Falls Saints, Kewaskeum A's St. Paul Capitals and the Austin Greyhounds. Other pitching victories went to Brandon Broxey, Ben Hughes and Don Erdall.
Millers Clinch 2014 Riverview Title
The Millers wrapped up their 5th consecutive Riverview Championship on Monday with a 8-5 win over the New Hope Athletics. The Title is the 22nd for the team and 8th in the last 9 seasons.

Millers to Retire Chris Urbain's #5 on July 18
At Veterans Field
The July 18 game between the Minnetonka Millers and the St. Michael Saints will be declared Chris Urbain night at Veterans Field. Chris' #5 jersey will be forever retired in a mid-game ceremony to be held at Veterans Field. This will be only the 4th jersey that the team has retired in it's 39 year history. We welcome all former Millers, friends and family of Chris and all Miller fans. We will have a postgame gathering in Excelsior after the game to celebrate with Chris. More details on this to follow. MILLERS TAKE 2013 RIVERVIEW TITLE
Anders Dzurak bested Park Saturday night at the Vet to sow up the 2013 Riverview title for the Millers. Mike Davis drives in all three runs in the victory. The title was the 23rd for the ball club and the 4th consecutive.
Millers Claim second Consecutive Spamtown Title
The Millers won their 3rd Spamtown Challenge Championship by downing the Austin Greyhounds 8-0 in the title game on Sunday in Austin. This title makes it two consecutive for the Millers in a tournament that no one else has won more than once. The team went 5 and 0 in route to the title with wins over the Cold Spring Springers, Souix Falls Saints, Prior Lake Jays, Shakopee Indians and the Austin Greyhounds. Rightfeilder Blaine Rutledge was voted Tourney MVP. Huge thanks to Cano, Frein, Oly, Serratore and all the great people at the yard that make this the best weekend of the summer.

Tony Richards to Join State Hall of Fame
Veteran Miller catcher Tony Richards will become the third Miller in as many years to be inducted into the Minnesota Class A Hall of Fame on July 13 at Dunning Field in St. Paul. The induction will take place during the Minneapolis/St. Paul All-Star Game and the Millers invite all supporters, teammates and friends to attend. There will be a reception tent at the game as well as a BBQ at the Hoy's that evening in honor of T Rich. Congratulations Tony!
Millers Capture 11th State Championship
The Millers wrapped up a 45-5 season by running the table at the State Tournament at Red Haddox Field in Bloomington. Nate Melek and Joe Shallenberger were selected co-MVP's and the remainder of the All-Tournament Team will be announced this week. The Millers outscored their opponents 42-6 in sweeping through in four straight. Thanks to all who backed us through this championship season. This one was for Steve Goethke and Dave Bigham. The Millers Claim their 2nd Spamtown title in Austin over the weekend. Joe Abellera was named tourney MVP going a gaudy 10-18 with 4 Homeruns, 9 RBI and 9 runs scored. The team beat the Dundas Dukes 4-2 on Friday behind Don Erdall and CJ Woodrow. Saturday the team rallied from 8 runs down to beat a regular tourney favorite Westmont, Illinois, and then downed Sparta, WI behind a shutout from Jake Campion. Sundays SemiFinals saws Brandon Broxey shut down a very good Moorhead, MN team as the Millers won 2-0 in extras. Abelleras Home run was the game winner. In the Championship Derek Mason notched his second win of the tourney by besting the St. Paul Capitals 6-2. Great time had by all at the greatest summer tourney in the State. Thanks to Frein, Cano, Oly, Serratore and all the Austin Hounds and staff for another fantastic tourney!
