The weather clears just in time for a great opening day!!!

Opening day went off without a hitch! A great day of baseball after overnight and morning showers led to nice cool temperatures to open up the season. In the 28+ division the game of the day was played between the Hurricanes and the Bombers with the Hurricanes taking a 3-2 win. Next the 2 new 28+ teams took to the field with the South Strand Storm beating the Jacksonville Pirates 12-2.

In the 45+ division the Crush defeated the Eagle Island Pirates 7-4 while the Rip Tides opened their season with a 6-3 win over the Rangers.
