1) Talked about time for re elections of league officers- decided 2 years would be good. Also decided that Dean Kent would be part of the officers position to be named later in the 40+ division and mentioned that the league should look into nameing a person for the 28+ division also
2) Schedule - Decided to have doubleheaders in the 40+ division when traveling to Wilmington or Myrtle Beach. This brought up the idea to allow teams to borrow pitchers for doubleheaders as long as they meet age requirements. Hopefully after recruiting this will not be neccesary but is in place if needed.
3) Playoffs - North-South representatives. One team from Myrtle and one from Wilmington will meet for division championship. Site will be area of highest seeded regular season team.
4) Teams can borrow players next season but must have 7 of their own to be a legal game.
5) A list of players that want to play with other teams will be made up and it will be the manager that needs a players responsibility to get one.
6) Separate field budgets will be made for 28+ and 40+ divisions.
7) Managers are to get with their teams about best days and times (Saturdays or Sundays early or late) for games. Field availability may dictate some days and times.
8) Next meeting we will go through ALL rules and leave only the ones necessary.
9) Need to set dates for league fees to be turned in with no exceptions for returning teams.
