1) League Update- Board (revote next season) Bank acct., Teams status, added Dean Kent aast. 40+ division Anthony Schibilia 28+ division.
2) New player workout will be late February/early March if needed.
3) League fees- deposit due 3/1/2014 Balance due 4/12/2014 These dates are firm!
4) Field update- BCC to be used on Saturday mornings, Hwy 90, NMB, Godwin possible, Grand Park and Ripken.
5) Separate field budgets for the 28+ and 40+.
6) Schedules - Shooting for opening weekend of April 26-27 at Pelican Stadium. BCC for 7 inning doubleheaders between Wil. and MB teams.
Playoff format for 40+ will be Wilmington winner vs MB winner in one game championship. 20 game regular season for 40 +. Schedule for 28+ dependant on how many teams we end up with.
7) Rules - A) No new inning started after 3 hrs. Shoot out count starts with a 2-1 count on batters, B) Teams short on players may borrow up to 2 players. 28+ cannot borrow pitchers and 40+ can if they do not have one or need a 2nd one to finish. C) Players may play in both divisions if age eligible. D) Ejection rules- 2 game suspension for 1st offense, rest of the season for a 2nd offense, suspensions run for current season only unless it occurs within the last two games.
8) Sponsors - Minimum of $250 donation to be included on the homepage of website. Team pages are up to individual teams.
9) Age exemptions - 28+ division teams may have 2 players 26 or 27 but they cannot pitch. 40+ remains the same. 40+ to play and 45+ to pitch.
10) Pelican Stadium Night - League fund raiser for April 4th game (40+) and April 18th game (28+). Need a league wide committment from everyone. Contact is Dan Hashey.
11) Memorial Day Tournament - Have 5 fields under contract and hoping for a 6th. Divisions will be 28+ and 45+ shooting for 8 teams in each division.
